We’re Hiring! Part-Time Accounts/Finance Manager
Mobile Rocket Ltd is seeking an experienced part-time Finance/Accounts Manager to manage all aspects of the accounts function. This is a stand-alone role, working closely with the MD, Accountants and the senior management team to develop and implement financial strategies that support the growth of the business.

Part time hours to be agreed between 21-28 hours per week with a salary of £28000 to £30000 pro rata
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial operations, transactions and systems – including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, payroll, and budgeting.
- Implementation and maintenance of financial controls to ensure accurate and reliable financial data.
- Reconciliation of bank and general ledger accounts.
- Production and maintenance of timely management information budgets, cashflow, sales forecasts .
- Knowledge of collating and preparing monthly payroll information.
- Liaising with the accountants on all general queries, outsourced payroll and supporting with year-end.
- Adhoc reporting and duties associated with the business requirements.
- Managing HR functions and holidays in conjunction with our solicitor.
- Sourcing business supplies and services and ensuring the best terms & prices are achieved.
- Providing support to the Sales Department regarding customer contracts, renewals and subscriptions.
- A knowledge of business due diligence is preferred.
About You / Key Skills
- Candidates should have at least 3+ years experience within finance. Qualified or part qualified AAT, ACA or similar preferred. Consideration will be given to other candidates who can demonstrate qualification through experience.
- Experience in a Saas services business is preferred but not essential.
- Excel, Google sheets, Salesforce and Quickfile experience are preferred but not essential. You must however have a full understanding of Excel’s tools & features and be confident in using them.
- Have superb attention to detail.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have a positive influence on the culture and development of the business.
- Demonstrate good judgment and good problem-solving skills
- Organize tasks, set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks
