Mobile Rocket Supporting Our Local Community
As a business we are extremely proud to be regularly supporting our local community. We are firm believers in ‘paying it forward’. Over the years our business has gone from strength to strength so where we can we like to give back to those who are less fortunate. Being located in Newton Aycliffe, we try to do what we can for our local community, such as the local food bank who we support.
Charity Golf Day
The 6th edition of the Sophie's Appeal Charity Golf Day Fundraiser recently took place at Boundary Lakes Golf Course in Southampton. It was once more a tremendous occasion with over 70 golfers taking part. 3D Personnel UK confirmed that a grand total of £8,000 was raised on the day for Sophie's Appeal. Mobile Rocket were pleased to support with the prizes.
Red Nose Day Fundraiser
To support Comic Relief and to make a difference by having fun (which is what Comic Relief is all about), the Mobile Rocket team raised so much money by baking food, picking the best cupcakes & telling jokes all to raise money for a good cause!
Local Support On The Lead Up To Christmas
On the lead up to Christmas, the team at Mobile Rocket wanted to give something back to the community, especially this time of year when it can be tough for many North East families. Collectively we brought together over 20 bags of urgently needed food to support those most in need. It’s something we will continue to do as a Mobile Rocket tradition. Mobile Rocket Founder and CEO, Adam Lee said: “We hope that our team’s effort provides families with what they need to make Christmas that bit better!”
Children In Need
In aid of Children In Need we all enjoyed hosting a coffee morning to raise money for Children In Need. It’s been amazing to see everyone bringing in food for a good cause, especially the Pudsey cheesecake whilst raising plenty of money for a great cause.
